  1. The last time I went to visit my sister and her three young boys I remember asking my nephew to get my mom because I needed a drink, but my mom was upstairs, so my little nephew who is six years old got up and instead of running off to get my mom he was like, “I’ve got you!” And went and grabbed my water bottle. Only he couldn’t quite reach it to my mouth. I was blown away he offered without me asking and beaming with heartfelt joy but didn’t want him to spill it so I said I could wait for my mom to comeback down. Without being asked he ran upstairs and got a straw and came back and gave me a drink. It was one of the sweetest things ever. The small act of kindness that he didn’t have to do but did anyway. I was so happy and touched I had tears in my eyes. But I wasn’t surprised because that’s just how my sister has raised her boys. To be kind and caring. But it’s such a beautiful thing to witness. -Jennifer Moderator
