Jake Saxton
Jake Saxton is a 20-year-old college student studying human resource management at Temple University. He was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy type 3 at the early age of 2 years old. Even though SMA has created some challenges for Jake, he has never let his disability define who he is or get in his way of attaining his goals. Some of his hobbies are playing wheelchair hockey, watching sports, and hanging out with family and friends. Jake is an ambitious and personable individual who is always looking to expand his knowledge in many different areas. He enjoys sharing his life story and informing people about how he navigates life with a neuromuscular condition.
