Spinal Muscular Atrophy Community Advocate Maryalice Noon Maryalice was previously a health leader on SpinalMuscularAtrophy.net.

Maryalice and her husband Dennis raised 3 children: Mike, Dan, and Ali. Their oldest child Mike was originally diagnosed around the age of 5 with muscular dystrophy. When Mike turned 12, a blood test confirmed spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). As Mike’s disease progressed through the years, Maryalice and Dennis took care of Mike’s needs.

Maryalice and Dennis are retired and live in Eastern Pennsylvania. They enjoy spending time with their children and their 4 grandchildren.
