Pros and Cons of Power Chairs
Are you new to using a power chair, or have you used one for a while?
What are some things you love and some things you dislike about using a power chair?
For someone like myself with no upper body strength I absolutely love my power wheelchair. Our chairs become a part of us and quite literally our legs. I love that my chair can tilt and recline (features I had to pay for myself) but they are so beneficial. I don’t like that on the particular chair I have the tires are useless and will spin on hardwood floor. They could have been made a lot better. -Jennifer SpinalMuscularAtrophy.net Team Member
